This page has been published to help guide you to a successful navigation experience of the Mini Motoring web pages.
Unless you have clicked on a link on another website, and that link has taken you to a specific topic page, your first arrival point at the Get–in–Gear website will be the home page. To navigate the site from this point you will need to click with your mouse pointer on the listed items that appear within the menu system, this being on the left of the page. These listed items are called Text Hyperlinks and are active sections of text that link to other web pages. From there onwards, whichever page you arrive at, you will find the same style menu system and in exactly the same position on the page.
You may find that some text hyperlinks are occasionally used within the text of the main body of a page. These will be words that fit into the meaning of the sentence in which they appear and will provide a clue as to what sort of information wil b eon the page they link to. You can identify these hyperlinks, as the words they use will be underlined and will look like this.
A great deal of effort has been applied to make the Mini Motoring Website easy to navigate and to be as user friendly as possible, and you should not experience difficulty in finding your way around. However, you may from time to time encounter links that will take you to another website, and these may appear as text links or active images. To give you an example of an active image, hover your mouse pointer over the Ride Drive logo within the left column of any of the main web pages and you will see your pointer chnages to a hand. If you click on that logo, the Ride Drive website page will open.
When you are taken to another website, the link that took you there is contructed in such a way as to always leave the Mini Motoring website open in the background. This means that whenever you close that third party site pages, you are still in the Mini Motoring website and at the point from where you accessed the third–party site.
Some of the pages take the form of what are called Pop–Up pages, and the page you are reading now is an examplw. When you open a Pop&ndahs;Up page it will appear over the top of the page from which you accessed it, but will be considerably smaller, like a little window over a bigger one. To close the Pop–Up page, and continue viewing the main site pages, just click on the ‘Close Window’ label, or upon the ‘X’ in the top right hand corner. You will then be back at the original website page.
You will see we have catered for every eventuality navigation–wise, and if you ever get totally confused as to where you are, simply click on the Mini Motoring title at the top centre of any page and you will be taken instantly back to the entry point of the whole website, this being the Home Page.
